Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati

The Venkateswara Temple, also known as Tirumala or Tirupati, is one of the most visited temples in India. Located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, it is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu. The temple complex consists of two main temples and a smaller shrine called Someshwara Swamy Temple. Other structures within the complex include a five-storey high statue of Lord Vishnu with four hands and four arms; it was built by architect Akshaya Mohan Reddy between 1981 and 1984 at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore (US$32 million).
